What We Do
The NC CTP (Pilot) has been serving traumatized children and families in 28 counties in northeastern
North Carolina since 2006. Specifically, we:
- Provide 12 months of intensive training (free-of-charge!) to therapists who are interested in offering evidence-based mental health treatment to traumatized children and families, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Provide TF-CBT to traumatized children and families living in northeastern North Carolina
- Provide free treatment to uninsured children who have experienced sexual trauma
- Provide the public with a written listing of NC CTP trainees and graduates (our roster!)
- Link traumatized children and families to NC CTP-affiliated therapists in their community
